"My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations" - Mark 11:17

Children, Teens and Prayer

Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate.

We need to know God and fall in love with Him while we are young, so that later on, when it’s harder, when there’s persecution, when there are trials,we really have a faith that’s strong, to hold us through.”

Children, Teens and Prayer

Jesus said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”

~ Matthew 19:14

Praying for our Children

There are 2.3 billion children on earth under age 15 and they represent the largest unreached people group in the world.

God is calling us to radically change the way we view children and to respond to their strategic importance and rightful place in His Kingdom. This often ignored and suffering people group can be transformed into a precious window of opportunity. In God's hands, this enormous and largely ignored people group can become agents of transformational mission under the headship of Jesus Christ.

It is no secret that our children face many challenges:  social media, lack of job opportunities, being bombarded by immorality and pornography, a society that is increasingly skeptical.

We need to cry out to God for the needs of our children and young people:  their spiritual needs, their problems and that the Holy Spirit would instill Godly values in them.

Let us pray that God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, will intervene in the lives of children and young people.

An Emerging Prayer Movement

african-children-prayingOne of the most exciting developments globally is the emerging prayer movement among children and teenagers.
In many nations God is pouring out his Spirit of intercession on a new generation, leading to changed lives and a dramatic advance of his Kingdom in new places.

Whether they meet in creative prayer rooms, class rooms, on the streets, or in fields, this generation is eager to spend time in God’s presence. Praying from the high places, these young people speak peace and blessing over their cities, and are willing to plead with God for the needs of their generation.
