How often do you pray? Do you find yourself saying, “I’ve been so busy, or tired that I forgot”? Are you finding yourself praying less? Do you tell yourself that you will pray more, but never seem to get around to it? True for many Christians, today.
When you do pray, is it done with passion and from the heart, or are you just going through the motions because it’s expected? Is that type of prayer even heard by God, or are they more like nails sliding down a chalkboard to His ears? When we pray with all sincerity, our prayers become powerful and meaningful to the One who created us! Revelation 8:4
At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split – Matthew 27:51
Through the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the veil has been torn and nothing can separate us from the love of God. He longs for a personal relationship with each one of us. He wants to be a part of our daily lives. And prayer is our direct connection to Him.
